Film Night & Billboard Project: Grand Unveiling In September!

CSW Film Night presents a film now displayed on a large projector screen with a new sound system. The film will be chosen by attendees from a list.

Join us Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave. corner of First Ave. [Click for a Map]

We would like to invite filmmaker Matt Landman to Chico to discuss his documentary film, "Frankenskies". The offer has been made to us. However, we do not want to do it if only a few people show up to the screening. And we would need help to get the word out to the community to make sure this project is successful. PLEASE contact us to either "commit" to attending the event, and/or to help put up posters and other things like that to get the word out.

• Billboard Project: Grand Unveiling In September!

We finally got enough donations, mostly from a few, generous, large-amount donors (thank you to them!), to have a CSW billboard in Chico for the months of September and October. (image above) The cost is about $400 per month.

We think this will be a very effective campaign. When it is put up, we will take photos. The first billboard will be on the Esplanade facing south near the Cohasset intersection across from the Italian Cottage. For October the billboard will move to a new location on the Esplanade farther north.

Wouldn't you like to have this public message at some new Chico location every month? Our website has a DONATE page! No donation is too small because it always looks good when a grassroots organization has many small and large donations instead of just a few large donations. You can also Contact us via the website or by return e-mail of this Alert if you are interested in donating to this very important project. All donations to the Billboard Fund will be used ONLY for the billboard project. Thank you.
