Last monthly meeting of Chico Sky Watch

Saturday, November 10th at 7:00 pm

The last monthly meeting of Chico Sky Watch will be Saturday, November 10, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library, located at 1108 Sherman Ave., at the corner of Sherman Ave. and E. 1st Ave. (map below)

We will be showing selected presentations from the Consciousness Beyond Chemtrails conference that took place in L.A. in August. The DVD set was purchased by Marla Crites.

Due to inactivity and low meeting attendance, the Core Group has decided to cease monthly meetings for an indeterminate amount of time and the foreseeable future. Monthly meetings may be started again at a later date, and there may be special meetings or events from time to time. The Core Group, and any other people who want to be involved, will continue on with special projects. We will continue to send out a monthly notice of recent activity, events, updates, etc.

Note that 'we' are not "quitting" or "giving up". We are "re-grouping", streamlining and changing strategy and tactics to fit the reality of the movement's status quo, especially as it pertains to Chico and the surrounding areas.

The Chico Premiere of "WhyITWATS?" was unfortunately a disappointment, like the prior film showing of "WITWATS?" at The Pageant Theatre. Attendance was about 25 people. The proceeds were minimal and overall put us in the red. Thanks to the few people who helped hand out flyers and put up posters. And thanks to The Pageant Theatre for their continuing support and donation via rental discounts.

It was brought to our attention that we neglected to publicly thank a few people for their support and/or contributions.
So, thanks go out to:

• Richard Baume of Traditional Acupuncture.

Please pardon the omissions and oversight. Thanks, also, again, to the other people and businesses and organizations who supported CSW over the last couple of years through monetary donations, material donations, and time and energy.

Chico Sky Watch meetings were held once a month, usually the second Tuesday of the month, a maximum of two hours in length, between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The meeting location was the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library, located at 1108 Sherman Ave., at the corner of Sherman Ave. and E. 1st Ave. See map (click to see larger version).
