• Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 1 at 6:30 pm at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library at 1108 Sherman Ave. corner of First Ave.

Note this apropos comment from a meeting announcement of Sierra Nevada Geoengineering Awareness, something we should all consider and take to heart:

If people truly want Geoengineering to be exposed, we need to have more people showing up for these meetings and then designing a course of action. Otherwise we are just wasting our time and energy. It is going to take NUMBERS of people to make a difference, not eight or ten. I know we're all busy, but this is our air we need to breathe we're talking about. It is the soil our food is grown in. It is the water we are not receiving in the form of rain and snow that is being stolen from us. Our basic human rights are being egregiously violated. We need you there.

At the Chico meeting we will be discussing upcoming events (noted below), including the showing of "Look Up!" at The Pageant Theatre in October, our next street rally on Wednesday, September 23, and the Sacramento protest on Wednesday, September 16.

In regard to all events, we ALL need to be out there. Every one of us. We need to show the scientists and the government that we are absolutely not okay with GeoEngineering. It will take huge numbers of people for that to happen. This means you.

• "Look Up!" at the Pageant Theatre in October!

Chico Sky Watch will be presenting the documentary film "Look Up!" at the Pageant Theatre on Saturday, October 10 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. This is the updated 110-minute film, which includes an interesting 30-minute trailing interview, with Q&A.

We need help putting up posters, handing out flyers, and spreading the word. We are also looking for sponsors. Stay tuned for more information as the date nears.

• GeoEngineering Protest in Sacramento.

There will be a protest in Sacramento to demand Governor Jerry Brown put a stop to GeoEngineering on Wednesday, September 16 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. The featured speaker will be Patrick Roddie.

We need HUNDREDS of people to attend this event!! Let's not embarrass ourselves and our movement. Spread the word far and wide and do whatever you can to attend, and bring people with you. If you can, brand your sign clearly with "Chico Sky Watch" so they know we are there representing. Note that Capitol rules require signs NOT to have any sticks.

• Our FOURTH Street Rally will be Wednesday, September 23 from 4:30 to 6:00!

If you have not attended one of the rallies, PLEASE come to this one.

Join us at our FOURTH Street Rally Wednesday, September 23 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, at the City Park Plaza, at the corner diagonally across from Has Beans (the south east corner; corner of 5th and Main) and the surrounding corners. There was discussion at one of the meetings that this day and time might be better to reach more people due to increased traffic.

Let’s have a BIG turn-out Saturday and show Chico how many people are paying attention and objecting to the toxic aerosol programs. Unfortunately, the group at the last rally was rather meager. Let's try to get a BIG group next time (30+ people), like some of the other groups are getting!
(Yes, it is a competition; and there is some group and individual pride involved, as well. As one of the premiere Anti-GeoEngineering groups in California, if not the world, and originally one of the largest, it is incumbent upon Chico Sky Watch to make a good showing.)
A group that large gathered on the corner of 5th and Main can really turn some heads. Many people in this community are already aware of the issue. They are more likely to join in the struggle to stop the spraying when they see many others showing the courage to speak out.

We need every one of you to feel the energy of the sheer number of drivers and passengers honking their horns and hollering thanks out their windows because those are the moments when you will feel boundless hope. Those are the moments when you will see that Americans will NOT stand down and let our country and our planet and our families be GeoEngineered to death. We need EVERYONE in this.

So come on down! Bring your sign if you have one. Or pick up one of our extras. Or just come be in the group. And smile; it’s going to be fun! Spread the word and bring a friend or two.
